Who we are
Say Laundry is a trading name of Mazidi Homes Limited (company number 15350516, registered office Flat 55 Banstead Court, 60 Westway, London W12 0QJ). We are the controller of your personal information and are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration C1996539). Contact us about privacy at support@mazidigroup.com.
What we collect
- Contact and account details: your name, email address and, if you give it, your mobile number.
- Addresses: collection and return address, access notes and safe-place instructions, and addresses you save.
- Orders: items and services booked, windows, weights and counts, quotes, payments, refunds, and order history.
- Payments: your card is saved and charged by Stripe. We receive only limited details (such as card type and last four digits), never the full card number.
- What you tell our booking assistant: when you book by voice or type to the assistant, the text of what you say and its replies are kept with your booking. Your voice is turned into text by your device’s speech service (Apple or your browser’s provider) or by our own speech service; we do not keep recordings.
- Support and claims: messages you send us and photos you upload about a problem.
- Technical information: security and error logs (such as IP address, device and browser type) needed to run and protect the service. We use only essential cookies: to keep you signed in, keep your booking in progress and protect forms. We do not use advertising cookies.
Why we use it, and our lawful bases
- To provide the service you book (contract): collection, cleaning, return, payment, updates about your order and support.
- To run, secure and improve the service (legitimate interests): preventing fraud and misuse, fixing errors, handling claims and planning capacity.
- To meet legal obligations (legal obligation): accounting and tax records, and responding to lawful requests.
- Marketing (consent): only if you opt in; you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only as needed with:
- our partner cleaner, who receives what they need to clean your order (order reference, items and care requests);
- our drivers, who receive your address, access notes and windows for your stops;
- service providers who process it for us: Stripe (payments), Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database, London), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages, when used), Ideal Postcodes (address lookup), Anthropic (the booking assistant), Microsoft Azure (spoken replies), and Sentry (error monitoring);
- authorities when the law requires it, and a buyer of our business if that ever happens.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Unfinished bookings: contact details and notes are removed after 30 days.
- Booking assistant conversations: 30 days.
- Verification codes: 7 days; the text of emails and texts we send: 90 days (1 day for emails containing codes).
- Your account: until you delete it. Orders, payments and records needed for accounting are kept for 6 years after the order, as tax law requires; if you delete your account, they are kept without your name, contact details or street address.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. You can delete your account yourself from your account page. To make a request, email support@mazidigroup.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
Our service is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 18.
Changes
We will update this notice when how we use information changes, and show the date at the top.
